One of the great things about watercolour is the quickness and spontaneity of the medium. This makes it ideal for small works done on the spot outdoors, or en plein air. Here is a selection of paintings done in my small moleskine travel book, which I take with me whenever I am travelling abroad.

Here are examples of my work in watercolour painted over the period 2013-1014. Some of these may be for sale in the near future. Most of these are one eighth imperial size, or 28cm x 19cm. I have recently started painting at quarter Imperial size, i.e. 38cm x 28cm, and most future works will be of this size.
